Cheese Corn Recipe

One very popular street food here in Cebu is Cheese Corn. So popular that you will almost always find a Cheese Corn Vendor in every block! My daughter and I love it so much that we would purposely get out of the house during weekends to find our favorite vendor for our weekly corn cravings. However, there are times when you don't want to get out of the house especially during rainy or super hot days and this is why I decided to recreate it at home. So easy and requires no cooking skills especially if you follow my tip. ;)

I wasn't willing to cook or boil corn cobs just so I could have my cheese corn so what I did was, I used canned Jolly Whole Corn Kernels. Saved me a lot of time!


  • Jolly Whole Corn Kernels 425g
  • Jolly Cow Condensada
  • Powdered Cheese
  • 2 TBSP Butter or Margarine


  • Strain Corn Kernels and place in a microwavable dish
  • Add butter to the corn kernels
  • Microwave for 1 minute and mix well
  • Divide into smaller cups
  • Pour Jolly Cow Condensada on top 
  • Sprinkle with Cheese Powder
  • Serve with a smile

It was a hit with the kiddos! They loved it so much that they did not leave me some. What do you think?
